Kirk is an individual with many interests and hobbies. He has been drawing as long as he can remember and making an artistic mess since he was able to finger paint.

By day, he works as a social worker helping the public improve their quality of life and address their healthcare issues.

He received an art degree from Michigan State University in 1990 and spent eleven years as a graphic designer making art on behalf of others.

In 2012, he returned to his love of art and began to study art in the hopes of making art for himself. In addition to his love of fantasy art, he also has a passion for cooking, costuming, and medieval history.
